FOR A PERSON DECEASED

Lord, we beseech Thee,

In the tenderness of Thy great mercy,

To have pity upon the soul of (name),

Cleanse him/her from all defilements

which have stained this mortal body,

And give him/her inheritance in everlasting salvation.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Who with the Father and Holy Spirit

Liveth and reigneth world without end.
